Dick Halm
Founder and Business Development Manager
Dick guides us through the process. He leads our team but doesn’t mind getting his hands dirty. He loves being in the field, and contributing to the solutions. With more than 40 years experience in the environmental field, remedial contracting, laboratory management, leading sales teams and consulting, he bring multiple disciplines that helps our staff daily to apply a consistent set of core values that responds to the client’s specific needs within the context of their larger project. Under Dick’s leadership and even in the most complex project settings the goal for our team is always the same: “Practical Approaches…Cost Effective Solutions!”
Matthew Halm
Operations Manager
Matthew started working part-time for CSC in 2012. His first major project with the company was to help take a run-down quarry and develop it into a working CCDD site. Over the past 10 years, Matthew has grown with the company. In his current role, he manages customer relations and oversees projects from start to finish. He has enjoyed learning about the industry and has attended multiple training sessions for professional development. He is OSHA trained and has received his 40-Hour Hazwoper certification. He completes yearly training with IDOT for regulated substances, construction projects, and special provisions. He's also currently working towards his CHMM certification.
Lee Vlcek
Financial Controller
Lee started working for CSC in 2020 and has expanded his role while improving internal processes. He handles the company financial information and any billing or payment requests run through him. He also manages the HR, marketing, and compliance side of the business. He is driven by a customer centric mindset and dedicated to ensuring the experience for our customers' office staff is as good as its field staff. Lee is a dedicated QuickBooks and Excel master and works every day to make CSC a better company.
